The Reception!

A lot of planning went into our "Western Style" Reception. And it was so much fun. Very relaxing and special. A great deal of friends and family were with us on our special day. Especially, a few surprises. My Dad and favorite Uncle Tod made the day so very special. These are two people and thier families that I have missed so much in my life. And it meant the world to me to have them there with me. Not to mention my very best friend, Toni, of 25 years. And all of Todd's family and friends. It was a day that Todd and I will never forget, believe me. And the toasts that people gave us. My Mother-in-law stood up and gave the most lovely toast. It feels so good to be a part of this family. And be surrounded by people that just get me! Really get me!

Our Tahoe Wedding!!!

What a beautiful day and weekend it was! We rented a 3 story Condo in Lake Tahoe and had our special day at "The Chapel of the Bells". It was so much fun. As you can see from the photos. I can only speak for myself when I say I had to kiss a lot of toads before I found my prince charming. All I wanted in my life was to find my place. Feel like I had my own family and have lots and lots of kids around. I can finally say, after ALMOST 40 years I have definitely found all of it. I got the extreme pleasure to marry my soul mate, my best-friend and I hit the jackpot with this fantastic family, they are a welcome addition to my own family! Let me tell you! Enjoy the photos :)

Hello Everyone and welcome to the "new" Smith Family Blog. This is a place where you can come and get the latest goings ons with our terrific family. Todd and I met in March and our relationship has been quite a happy whirlwind, and still proves to be :)!! We met and within a month were engaged. Things happened very quickly for us. We decided to get married. Then we fell into a great house. Then we agreed to take in Todd's twin 3 Year old nieces, Amarissa (Ami) & Jaylene (JJ). Todd also has a 13 year old daughter, LeighAnn, I have a 19 year old son, Chris and sooooo many wonderful nieces and nephews. Life is very busy and very very good!
